Eucalyptus is probably the most famous essential oil, as it is used as decongestant in steam inhalations to relieve cold, flu and other respiratory diseases. It cleanses the mind, relieves the neuralgia.
Psychologically, eucalyptus is stimulant and purifuing. It’s useful in meditations when you’re cold, to help keep your mind clear. It stimulates the delicate energy, especially of the lungs, and helps those who feel limited in their lives. Eucalyptus is also a good “purifier” for the soul, if you put it in a diffusion device cleans the space from negative energy.
Eucalyptus has cool, sharp high notes of camphor and penetrating, woody undercoat. It blends well with most other essential oils of wood and herbs, as well as with lavender and lemon (Farrer-Halls, 2007).
